Albert Einstein was a German-born physicist known for developing the theory of relativity and in the development of the theory of quantum mechanics.
He is acknowledged to be one of the greatest physicists of all time, and his mass-energy equivalence formula, E = mc2, has been dubbed as “the world’s most famous equation.”
He was also awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics.
