Alexander the Great, also known as Lord of Asia, was a King of Macedonia, who by the age of thirty managed to create one of the largest empires in history and is also considered to be one of history’s greatest military commanders.

In 334 BC, he invaded the Persian Empire. After a series of campaigns that lasted for 10 years, he managed to overthrow King Darius III and conquer the Persian Empire in its entirety.

His empire stretched from the Adriatic sea to the Indus river, Balkans to modern-day Pakistan. He was tutored by Aristotle until the age of 16.
